Regional Economic Development Grants Closes:...13 September 2019 (Round 2) For: The RED Grants program is a State Government initiative that invests in community driven projects to create jobs and boost economic growth across regional Western Australia. The State Government's Royalties for Regions program will invest $28.8 million towards the RED Grants program over five years for projects that will directly benefit regional communities. Each of the Regional Development Commissions (RDC) manage the grant round process for their region, and will provide advice to applicants during the application process. Eligible applicants can apply for RED Grant funding of up to $250,000 for individual projects that promote sustainable jobs, partnerships, productivity, skills and capability, as well as stimulate new investment in industry diversification. Community and Industry Engagement Grants to help Reduce Waste Closes:.10am 23 September 2019 For: Applications are open for funding projects that contribute to the State's waste strategy Projects that improve the recovery and reuse of waste materials such as plastics, glass, construction and demolition materials, food organics and garden organics; as well as those that encourage behaviour change are encouraged to apply for a funding grant. Preventing Violence against Women and their Children Grants: Community-led Projects Closes: .9 October 2019 For:Grants of $350,000 to $550,000 are available to support innovative and community-led primary prevention activities for particular cohorts, groups or communities that challenge the underlying social, economic and political conditions, as well as historical and cultural factors that allow violence-supportive attitudes and behaviours to thrive. The Community-led Projects to Prevent Violence against Women and their Children Grant supports organisations to work directly with communities to develop and implement targeted primary prevention projects that empower people to challenge violence-supportive attitudes and behaviours, promote gender equality, and form respectful, equal relationships – personally, professionally, and socially.
